Indian music is universally acclaimed for its spiritual essence and charm. A natural de-stressor, it centers one by restoring the mind-body balance. Gandhaar will explore the aspects of this music through the Omkaar, the octave, the raag intellect and the emotional experience the raags create.

About the artist

Sohan Nilkanth is an architect, sarod exponent, and founder of INSCAPE, an architectural studio rooted in the pursuit of discovering the inner essence of art and design. A disciple of Pandit Rajeev Taranath, he has performed across India, the UK, and the USA, while also composing music, creating educational podcasts, and mentoring students of the sarod. Alongside his musical journey, he is a practicing architect in Ahmedabad, India and has served as visiting faculty at CEPT University and Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India.
