A curated walk-through, led by Vinit Vyas
(PhD student in Art History at the City University of New York)

Vinit is interested in questions of style, text-image relationship, erotica, gender and sexuality (especially same-sex desire & Trans* narratives), history of emotions and sensory experiences. He was previously a research associate at the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP), Bangalore, and has been a visiting & guest faculty at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. His writings have appeared on Serendipity Arts, The Heritage Lab and among other publications, more recently he authored a chapter on a colonial-period painter from Jamnagar in an edited volume and contributed an essay for the curatorial catalogue of the digital exhibition Bagh-e-Hind. In 2022, Vinit was awarded the MA/Early Doctoral fellowship by the Center for Black, Brown, and Queer Studies (Massachusetts) to expand his research.
